Jacqueline Ko Matthews
Founder & CEO
Jacqueline Ko Matthews graduated from Wellesley College with a degree in Economics and began her career as an Investment Banker with Goldman Sachs under Robert Rubin in New York and then Hong Kong. Part of a pioneering team of 9 spearheading the Goldman Sachs’ Asia Pacific investment banking team, she helped open the Taiwan Goldman office leading to the first $1.1B IPO of China Steel. Jacqueline then became part of the Goldman China team and subsequently was involved in many landmark IPO deals throughout Asia. Jacqueline was then hired as Vice President of International Finance for an Ultra High Net Worth family office conglomerate in Indonesia and then Taiwan before returning to the U.S. to obtain her master’s in Economics from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and joining a small team managing U.S. Senator Mark Warner’s $200m family office. Jacqueline was then Chief Operating Officer of a quantitative hedge fund firm which she helped grow to $400m AUM before founding Investment POD.
Peter Matthews, PhD
Chief Investment Officer
Dr. Peter Matthews is a hedge fund pioneer, best known as a Founding Partner and Chief Portfolio Strategist of Mint Investment Management Co ("MINT") which became the first systematic global macro firm to exceed $1B in assets under management. MINT achieved consistent annual returns averaging 20% over its nearly 20 year history with no losing years in the first 13 years with Peter as chief architect of its trading systems. A JV with London’s Man Group, MINT was the catalyst for Man to become today’s largest publicly traded hedge fund firm globally. Peter won the highest honor given to an individual in the industry, The Donchian Lifetime Achievement Award, for creating the mathematics behind the First Guaranteed Fund. The MINT Guaranteed Fund institutionalized futures into the mainstream acceptable asset class by pensions and endowments. MINT’s success was profiled in the book, “Market Wizards”.
Chief Technology Officer
Prior to leading the technology development at InvestmentPOD, AJ was the Chief Technology Officer at the fast-growing education start-up, Jozii. An honors graduate of New York University, AJ has made a habit of working on the cutting edge of technology at companies like BitInstant, Verisign, Inc., and the Naval Research Laboratory's Optics division.
Ngana is a former U.S. Army captain who served as an intelligence officer in Korea, Afghanistan, and Fort Benning, Georgia. Ranked first in his class at the U.S. Army Candidate School, Ngana is a graduate of Canada’s elite McGill University.

Atul has 25 years of experience in Financial Services. Most recently, he was Head of Advice for Wells Fargo Advisors, where he oversaw investments and advice quality. In previous roles, he was President of Wells’ clearing business, First Clearing, and Partner with Booz & Co.
